"Child Assessment Unit + Emergency Ambulance =..."

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Our family would like to extend our greatest thanks to a call handler from 111, two people who attended to our young son within minutes of dispatch, and members of staff at the Children Assessment Unit of Queen Alexandra Hospital for the friendly and efficient treatment of our son yesterday evening. The case was professionally handled with dignity from all parties. Our son is now feeling so much better now. It put us at ease.

Many thanks for your undivided attention and keep up the good work!

Dear Jerome

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your positive feedback about your experiences in the Paediatric Department when your son was taken ill.

I am pleased to note that he is now feeling better and take this opportunity to wish him well for the future.

Please be assured that your comments have been shared with the Teams involved as requested.

Should you ever need to share your views with us direct, good or bad, then please contact our PALS Team on PHT.PALS@porthosp.nhs.uk who will be happy to help and advise.

Kind regards.

Debbie
