"Sub Standard Treatment"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

I am appalled in the way my daughter in law was treated on her last scan and again on her 22 week scan today. The last scan they told her she hasn't drink enough fluids to take the measurements, today GRH run 20min late in this department she was rushed, again the trainee told her, her bladder was to full she should empty some, which she did, when she came back she was rushed also told her bladder was still to full they can't see what they needed to see, and told her to come back for her 28 week scan. When she left she didn't get her images when she asked for it they were slapping the bed and said she should get back on the bed and she is keeping the other mothers, so my daughter was very distraught and didn't get back on the bed she left. They also said she can't have another scan untill her 28 week scan.

I think she needs an apology for the way in which she was treated today and for her peace of mind need another scan before her 23 weeks
