What I liked

I attended A&E suffering a sever asthma attack I was taken to recovery by the A&E clerk and was seen promptly by the medical and nursing staff all of whom acted in a highly professional manner. i felt my dignity was very well respected given the circumstances and although busy the staff kept me well informed.

What could be improved

There was a poor number of staff which is all too often the case there could be better security staff were being verbally abused by a patient whom appeared to be drunk and by a drunken woman who felt she was waiting too long

Anything else?

I have worked in health care for many years and know just how difficult it can be to provide effective care when coping with poor staffing levels and heavy work loads keep up the good work

hospitals can always be cleaner however given that A&E is a public area litter is expected
