About: Good Hope Hospital

Came to ED at Good Hope with breathing difficulties. Waited five hours before seeing a doctor. Then got sent to x ray. It was closed. Waited back in ED. Feeling so poorly and no one helping

thank you for your post regarding your experience in Accident and Emergency at Good Hope Hospital. My apologies for any delay in responding to your concern.

Unfortunately our Emergency Department does get extremely busy and I am sorry that you had a long wait.

If you remain unhappy with your experience, please do contact Patient Services where an officer will be happy to discuss your concerns with you, and take further details so that they can investigate your experience further.

We can be contacted either by email: patientservices@heartofengland.nhs.uk or by telephone: 0121 424 0808 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Out of hours you can leave a voicemail message with your name and contact number and a member of the team will get back to you within one working day.
