Physiotherapists - fantastic - daily visits and ongoing therapy.

What could be improved
Nursing care - basic ( bowel/ bladder/ pressure/ wound care) and understanding of the need for pain relief following major surgery and removal of epidural.
Nursing compassion and empathy.
Anything else?
The nurses on the ward were far too busy - research shows that busy nurses lose their compassion - I had only just read this fact, when this very situation occured with my husband following an accident.
Snappy impatient and flustered nurses do not help the anxious patient who is in pain.
