"Eye Infection"

About: Whitworth Hospital

I arrived at 9.00 pm on Thursday 20th August and was seen straight away. The Triage nurse was kind and efficient and the treatment nurse was excellent - I left at 9.15 having been diagnosed with conjunctivitis and with anti-biotic ointment. My eye is already responding well to the treatment!

Dear Mr Harryman. Thank you for taking the time to comment on the service you received from the Minor Injury Unit at the Whitworth Hospital. We are glad that it was a positive experience. We always endeavour to give the best possible care in a kind and efficient manner. We are very pleased to hear that you are progressing well and hope that you were able to enjoy the remainder of your holiday. I will make sure your kind words are passed on to the staff involved.

Warm regards

Susan White, Senior Emergency Nurse Practitioner Minor Injuries Unit - Whitworth Hospital, Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust
