I have been under review in the ENT department for the last eight months having experienced tonsillitis on many occasions over the last twelve months. During my visits I have been kept informed about my treatment and tests that have been taken. The latest of which was an ultrasound of my neck, the results of which are thankfully clear of any major problems. I have seen the consultant, on two occasions. They are professional in their approach, clear in their explanation of my treatment and having seen them today, they asked about my health to which I explained that I was also suffering with a suspected trapped nerve in my lower back, they enquired whether I had been referred to a specialist as this is my fifth week, as I confirmed that I hadnt the Consultant said that they would kindly refer me to a neuro specialist, this is more than I have had from my GP !
