Apart from first contact receptionist staff were fantastically helpful and kind even though they were working to check I knew we're to go.
Day surgery unit very busy so ended up elsewhere but still staff kind and helpful
I live alone so it's cheaper to book two nights in hotel than try and organise lifts ,taxis etc. wonder why in 2015 a single person should be so disadvantaged and £160 down because its impossible to get to hospital without private transport . Can only assume poor must continue to suffer.
Was on mixed sex ward and staff doing best to maintain privacy and dignity but heard all about next door patients catheter procedures.
Recovery was very busy but staff fantastic. Have had same procedure at private hospital but under NHS. What a difference! Private hospital is like being in first world as opposed to third.
Can't fault the staff but not looking forward to next time.
