"A & E - great service!"

My husband took me to A & E at Newham University Hospital as I had a threatened miscarriage. To our surprise, the service we've received was excellent!

We had to wait to be seen a bit longer then usual as I was not told what the procedure is by the first person (pre-reception) I've seen but after my husband filled the paperwork properly, I have been given a priority and was seen quickly.

I have to say that every single person from nurses to doctors that have seen us that night (and we were seen by about 5 people) were very professional, attentive, explained everything that was and would be going on and took a good care of me as I was in quite a bad state of mind. There was no time to get everyone's name but we'd like to say a huge thank you to the Dr, who came to see us on a very short notice in the middle of the night and treated us with such a caring, compassionate and professional attitude that we could not ask for more.

Unfortunately I miscarried that night but now my husband and I know that when I'll be pregnant again, we will not hesitate about choosing a birth place for our child as it will definitely be the Newham University Hospital.
