About: Kings Oak Hospital

I visited this hospital to have minor procedure.

On arrival at reception I was ignored while the receptionist was teaching another receptionist how to to operate the computer.

After about four or five mins the first receptionist asked if they could help me

I handed them my appointment papers which they checked, told me to sit and and after a short while they took me to my room.

I waited in my room for about 10 mins when a very polite and cheerful nurse entered and took my blood pressure and pulse and left.

I was told to change into my dressing gown which I did.

I waited about one hour.

I started to feel cold so I removed the air conditioning hose from the open window and closed the window. I still felt cold, as luck would have it I had brought my own dressing gown which I put on.

I am a 76 year old and I was left in my room for over two and a half hours before they took me to have my proceedure with no one entering my room to check on me for the last two hours
