"I have been forgotten"

About: Basildon University Hospital

Attended for an angiogram on 27th July, was told that I needed an angioplasty and I would hear something within about 4 - 6 weeks.

Heard nothing and so I rang and was told that I was not on the waiting list and that my case had not even been referred.

Eventually found out that someone had forgot to refer me and that I am now at the bottom of the list.

The error was blamed on staff changes and new secretaries, the wait is now about 3 months!

Still getting chest pains, still off work, won't be getting paid soon.

If I hadn't phoned I nobody would have been any the wiser.

It's all very stressful!
