(as the patient),

My place of work piled on the pressure until I could not cope anymore and I stopped care about myself.

Hi Sno

I found your experience very sad. Unfortunately, I do sometimes hear stories of people with mental health challenges going unsupported at work...but there is hope!

Lots of employers have signed up to national Public Health pledges that include Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work. This means that there are employers out there that want to better support their workers and are looking at initiatives, training and procedures to aid line managers to provide that support. This includes providing opportunities for people to get back in to work once they feel better able to do so.

In the meantime your overall health is the most important thing to focus on.

You matter!

Paula
