What I liked My mother was treated at the hospital for a period of two weeks prior to her death. At all times she was treated with dignity, care and respect by all members of staff. She has been in and out of hospitals locally for the past two years and no other hospital measured up to the high nursing standards of the Whitworth. The Winster ward was spotless at all times and the crisp white linen on the beds, a sight to behold. It was not just the reaction of our family, it was clearly thoughts shared by other visitors to the ward. In the final hours of my mother's life, the support given to the family was superb and reflected on a well trained and caring staff.
