When a hospital cannot organise itself to even answer the phones you know you've got a problem. It's amazing, isn't it, that we have all these managers in hospitals and yet they don't seem to be able to manage to keep simple functions running in the way they did decades ago? It';s not as if the management is being expected to introduce a revolutionary new service. All they have to do is not mess up a simple function by removing the staff or facilities to answer the phones. But they cannot manage that. I've tried emailing their PALS service but that's been useless (what sort of pal do they think ignores pleas for help; what an inappropriate acronym!)
Of course I cannot really fill in their stupid form because I cannot even talk to them let alone get into the hospital.
