"Paediatric A&E"

I've just visited paediatric A&E with my 8year old daughter and was very impressed with the staff on duty. There was a friendly receptionist, a prompt triage nurse and 2 nurse practitioners who were wonderful. They made what could have been a very unpleasant experience much better by taking the time to explain to her exactly what was going to happen and how it would feel. They offered her different forms of pain relief & she came away remembering how brave she had been rather than how much it had hurt. Thank you!
