"A good experience at the Royal Hampshire"

I want to say how good my experience was when I came to Royal Hampshre County Hospital on last Saturday to have the Trapezium bone removed from my hand on Burrel wind day surgery unit.

I cannot praise the service I received enough, from the time that I arrived at 7-30a.m. untill I had recovered from my anaesthetic and was allowed to go home at 12-30p.m. The staff were exceptional, they made me feel at ease and less anxious and nothing was too much trouble, the day surgery unit was spotless, including the toilets and washbasins. Everything was there for your ease and comfort.

I include the anaesthatist and Mr. Samuel, also theatre staff, everyone was most kind and caring at an anxious time for me as a patient. I had my left hand operated on last year at a different hospital and my experience was abysmal, so when I came to Royal Hampshire to have my right hand done I was especially nervous, but I needn't have been, and that was down to a caring staff and the quality of treatment. I would recommend RHCH to anyone.
