"there is a needs for more permanent staffing"

About: Tolworth Hospital

(as a student nurse),

As a student nurse on this ward I had a good experience. I found that all the staff members are good at meeting patients’ needs and place them all at the centre of their care. Patients feel listened to and can express their needs freely. Staff members (RMN) are good at liaising with other MDT members in order to care for patients holistically.

However, due to lack of regular staff such as WCA and RMN and more Agency staff, sometimes the ward can get hectic. I feel there is a needs for more permanent staffing.

Staff are very friendly and accessible and have aided in my development.

Dear Annxs7,

My name is Jane and I am one of the Patient Experience Leads for the Trust. Many thanks for your positive thoughts about our services and I am pleased to hear that you found staff to be friendly and accessible.

Many thanks also for your obseravtions around staffing and the use of agency staff, I have passed these on to my colleagues for further consideration.

Kind regards

Jane
