"The team gave me the confidence I needed for future employment"

About: Springfield University Hospital (London)

(as a student nurse),

What was good:

1 Staff at CMHT were very helpful, willing to teach me as a student.

2 Staff really gave me a chance to practice my skills except when service users refused / denied consent.

3 Mentor was quite thorough with my learning outcomes and this propelled me to draw knowledge from all my 3 years of practice!

4 I felt included in the team and this gave me the confidence I needed for future employment.

What was not so good:

1 I was not comfortable doing home visits, but this was part of the care package. Even though I was / felt safe knowing that I was with staff at all times.
