Having just spent a week in Medway hospital, I was disgusted with the poor standard of food. It was served up cold, the vegtables were overcooked and the amounts served up would not have fed a mouse.
I had to resort to my family bringing me in sandwiches otherwise I would not have been able to have a balanced diet.
The standard of hygiene whilst food was being served left a lot to be desired as well. Dirty plates, and cutlery which does not bode well for a hospital enviroment.
On the plus side the nurses were excellant and made me feel very well looked after.
