"Breast cancer and chemotherapy."

About: Kettering General Hospital

After being diagnosed with breast cancer at the KGH treatment centre, I was one very scared lady, the staff were so supportive, explaining everything, sensitive and reassuring.

The consultant helped me understand my options and guided me through the procedures.

The fact there staff were available to talk to, to ask about your concerns, they always found the time to reassure or assist you.

Later when I recovered from my mastectomy, approx three weeks. I was referred to the marvellous team in Century House for a course of chemotherapy.

Again comfort and cleanliness was paramount.

Nursing staff being wonderful, nothing too much trouble, first class!

Not the best time off my life but having completed the chemotherapy.

I am now a chemo warrior and cannot thank Kettering General Hospital and it's wonderful staff enough!

We are lucky to have such wonderful service and staff working in it.

Thank You ....
