I had a Hysteroscopy in July this year, shortly after waking up, I was moved to the recovery Pod, where my carer promptly informed me they were going on their break, so I was left there, someone else noticed and I was offered tea and toast, I then began to notice that people who were in the surgery after me leaving, while I was still left there, my carer returned and told me to go to the desk and call my partner to take me home, and that they were going back upstairs to bring down another patient. Again I was left waiting, another nurse told me that my partner was here and I could go, but I had not been discharged. My carer eventually came back and read through some notes, most of which advised me any problems I should see my GP.
I still have not had the results of the Biopsy's that were taken, and I immediately found I had an infection, and my GP had to prescribe antibiotics, but even now I am still having discharge.
