About: Countess Of Chester Hospital

I am so very grateful to the medical teams at the countess of Chester.

I was recently referred by my gp and was seen very promptly by the breast care unit. Diagnosis of my breast cancer was quick and my breast care nurse was very caring and professional in their role. I was then referred to the consultant surgeon.

This consultant is so approachable, so easy to talk to, so willing to listen and to care for my individual needs. Their skill as a surgeon is second to none. The day of my surgery I was very nervous, but the team of nurses and the anaesthetist put me at ease. Recovery on ward 40 with the teams I could not fault. I felt that they were on hand for anything that I required and I felt extremely well looked after.

FInally,

I would like to say thankyou to the admin teams, working to co-ordinate appointments between different departments in the hospital so efficiently.
