the attention by the surgeon every day and by his team, the nurses attention and care nothing was too much trouble.

What could be improved

the bed situation being shoved from pillar to post and then into a room with old men who took a delight in talking about how many times they had been to the loo and what colour it was all while I was trying to stomach my first taste of food for 3 days.THANKS>

the food, was awful and ver got what you asked for because you were moved so often, I had 2 desert spoons to eat my dinner with and nothing else and one spoon had a dried up old bit of green veg all over the back of spoon,my neighbour said the cinnamin rice is quite nice, so I tried to eat some of that and on moving the rice from the side of the dish I found dried on brown stuff, could have been old soup and the rice just plonked on top YUK! that was it I couldn't eat anything then.
