"Felt cared for by doctor / nurses"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I went to A & E on 31st July due to ongoing stomach pains which were becoming increasingly painful. I was seen reasonably quickly by a nurse and then by a doctor. The doctor was pleasant and listened to my concerns and ordered all the basic tests - bloods, abdominal x-ray and gave me medication to help with pain. Overall I was only there for approx 2 hours before I had all the results back from the tests. The bedside manner of all the staff I saw was good and I grateful for their help.
