"Worst experience ever"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

my midwife booked me for a sweep, but when I arrived at ward 31, they didn't have any information on their system. So I had to wait for 3 hours. Then my midwife called ward 31 and found out the information hadn't been forwarded. Then I have been told to wait for a doctor. I came in at 3.15pm and the doctor came to see me at 10.30pm in the night. Not much information provided by the staff on the day time. The midwives were rude and joking around about the patients. Really terrible. Every time when we wanted to ask something they were not ready to answer. I waited all together 7 hours and 30 minutes to be seen by the doctor.

Actually the only person who was so friendly on that night, was a student.

First of all the midwives need to know how to behave to the patients.

Second, there must be a better communication between the staff and patients.
