"The attitude and very caring nature ..."

About: Royal Derby Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The attitude and very caring nature of all the staff on maternity ward. I lost my husband 10 wks before our baby arrved, and I can honestly say that all of the staff could not do enough for me. I would most definitely recommed any woman to the Royal Derby Hospital

What could be improved

maybe to be a little more strick and vigilant in regards to the set visiting times. The lady next to me had ALL of her relatives to visit. As a result of this they were spilling over to my side of the bed and banging into my babys' cot. They blatently flouted the rules. I was very kindly moved to a side room, but I would have liked to have seen them leave at the end of visiting and to repect the rules as the other visitors did.

We are really pleased to hear that the care you received in the maternity unit was of the highest standard. Thank you for your comments regarding visiting times, I shall ensure that they are passed on to the unit.
