"Managed miscarriage"

About: Newham General Hospital

I came to the beckton ward for a miscarriage on the 10th August 2015. I was very disappointed with the care I was given. I entered the ward for treatment,I waited 3 hours for this to begin. I was given my first tablet and then left by the nurses to deal with very painful contractions. I asked for help to deal with the pain but no one responded. I became dizzy and very light headed, but still no one came to check on me or even do basic checks, such as blood pressure. This was performed only once when I entered the hospital. I was given a strong painkiller injection just before being discharged and by which time I had nearly completed my miscarriage. Extremely disappointed with my care and the nurses I had to deal with. It needs improvement and I hope nobody else has to go through the same experience I did.
