"Would def recommend!"

About: Princess Royal Hospital (Haywards Heath)

Went in at 40+1 as was in early labor but my babys movement had reduced dramatically. Was told i would be sent home after as in early stages. However when monitored my babys heart rate dropped dramatically and was extremley stressed. I was taken to labor ward amd in 7.5mins i was put to sleep having an emergency c-section. If it wasn't for the staffs quick reactions my baby boy wouldn't be here today and now 6weeks old. The after care was amazing and i was really looked after and they really helped with feeding (i decided formula but my baby wasn't feeding enough). I had a stressfull night the 2nd night and i was getting fed up with me buzzing but the staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. The only downfall about the birth was my partner didnt know what was going on and felt a bit isolated as no one was talking to him but understood that they had to do things at top speed. I would def recommend having a baby here and would plan to come here again if i was to have a 2nd.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post such positive comments about your recent experience at the Princess Royal Hospital - especially when you must be so busy with your new baby boy.

I will be very pleased to pass your comments on to the obstetrics team at the hospital - I know they will be very happy to see them.

Best wishes,

Andrew Harvey
