Free Family Funday at our local park.

The workers and volunteers were good, but refreshments could be improved.

Thank you for your comments regarding the Family Action Fun Day at Carr Bank park and I am glad you and your family enjoyed the event.

I have spoke to the events organiser who informed me that on the day Severn Trent were supposed to deliver bottled water but unfortunately did not turn up. Also only a few days prior to the event another refreshment provider had cancelled and no suitable replacement could be found at such short notice.

I will have a further conversation with the events organiser and request suitable alternative providers are identified for future events to ensure that there will be an adequate provision of refreshmnets for families, especially drinks being available.
