"Nothing but consideration and kindness"

I was admitted into Grantham Hospital in July 2015 at 11: 30am for an inguinal Hernia repair. Ward 2 E. Bay 4.

From my assessment to being discharged I received nothing but consideration and kindness from everyone. The tea-lady who suggested the ginger biscuits to help with the nausea I felt earlier. The nurses, consultants, everyone.

For a couple of days I couldn’t face the food because of the lack of appetite and feeling sick. NOT because of the food! . When my appetite returned I enjoyed the food provided. It was great having it prepared and cooked for me as I live on my own, no washing up after!

I was treated with kindness, care and dignity from start to finish.
