"No bed in Preston"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My wife has been waiting 12 days in Blackburn Hospital Ward B24 to be transferred to Preston Neurology Ward. 12 Days flat on your back with a broken spine is no way to treat any human being. We are disgusted with the service of obtaining a bed at Preston. This is unacceptable but nobody is listening. Blackburn blame Preston, Preston Royal blame a bed shortage, for 12 days?????. Preston asked for my wife to be transferred into their care on the afternoon and evening we went into A & E at Blackburn, she is still waiting. On your wed site it states to fill in when you visited the hospital... We have not visited yet but to be able to complain and perhaps be heard I have entered the month of August 2015. As an Ex Newspaper man I have read about cases like this over the years and now that I have experienced the beaurocacy at first hand I understand the frustration of others dealing with the NHS.
