"Disappontment"

About: East Surrey Hospital

Very unexpected hospital stay. Firstly we were told by the nurse "your mum is not worse enough to for us to take her bloods and obs" (my mother is 78 yr old and came in unconcious with a temp of 40 along with several other associated symptoms). We waited for 4 hours for bloods only! Then finally we got to see the registrar and they were not helpful at all. I felt no involvement at all, lack of care and support from the doctors. The worse thing was the nurse split urine on the floor and instead of cleaning it they just put few tissues and thats it, no disinfectants or anything. Then when it comes to patients personal hygiene that was disgusting too. Taking the bed pan away without cleaning the patient - they forced me saying "so you dont wipe your bottom after going toilet" and then they were like ok you want me to clean her? Wth?!?!!!
