Was taken to a&e via ambulance they were waiting for me on arrival the nurses came to attend to me straight away , then the doctor came and examined me they were very gentle and caring in their manner and asked a nurse to take bloods which they did then gave my husband and I a cup if tea I was taken to x ray then my bloods had been reviewed and also my x ray I then felt quite unwell and the doctor and a nurse stayed with me then I was taken to mau! Did not like this ward from moment I got there , staff were totally different they were moning all the time and I couldn't breath t one point and a lady in the next bed rang her buzzer for ten mins , as I wasn't given mine , but luckily a doctor came to see another lady and saw I was in some discomfort so they came to see me then went for a nurse who gave me oxygen . I must say that all the doctors in mau I could not fault they sat and explained to me and made feel they really cared, but the nursing staff except for one of the bank nurses were not very good I know they are busy but lives are at stake sometimes sorry mau I won't want to come back there again in a hurry.
"A&e very good but mau terrible"
