"i have a sister who suffers from ..."

About: Leicester General Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

i have a sister who suffers from faithal medical conditions and one of them is end stage reanal failiure. she was admitted and had to sleep in a corridor as no space in the ward. also we were not allowed to visit her only for 1 hour on opening times 7 to 8 or 2 to 3 when travelling from 70 miles. and they would not allow us to see her 5 minutes before the visiting time and they would not understand that we had come from a long distance. also my brother suffers from life threatening conditions as well as end stage renal failure and in there hospital we could speak to the ward sister and she would allow us to see him during the day any time in the ward and this was an adult ward. i have to say that we did ask the ward sister in lecister but she said it is up to to the professor but he said it is not up to me because i only work here and later we find out that it is his ward and he can change the times. i find this hospital disgusting when it comes to communicaiton and patient health and visiting not appreciating that people have to come from long distances.

What could be improved

communicaiton

visiting times

patient health

cleaning the hospital

co-operatintion between patients, nurses and doctors

Anything else?

staff not being rude to visitors and there should be a rule that visitors should not have to tollerate rudeness from staff in the hospital like any other profession
