"Visit for aged relative to A and E"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

An aged relative (83) had chest pains and our GP suggested an ECG at casualty. To cut a long story short he was seen quickly, looked after carefully, had a battery of tests, underwent careful questioning and was released feeling much re-assured a few hours later. The A and E staff were universally kind and offered him, and me help and treated us as real human beings. They all seemed to talk to each other and when things were supposed to happen they did. IT was busy but no sense of panic or confusion well done all concerned - I bet you don't get nearly enough thanks.
