I was admitted to Hospital by my GP who was concerned after a blood test. I was very apprehensive being my first stay in Hospital. After the excruciating pain I had been getting before hand I was more than keen to get things sorted out. Going to A&E was a little traumatic - & it was clear to see how much strain that department is under. After a 2 hr wait I was seen by a nurse who did checks & explained they were worried about pancreatitis ? I was taken up to Cromie ward & told to make myself comfortable on a comfortable clean bed. The staff Doctors- Nurses, Inc cleaning & meal staff were excellent - & really opened my eyes how good our National Health Service is - considering the lack of funding & pressure it is under! I spent 2 nights & was treated with care & respect. They are still trying to find a cause for my pain which comes out of the blue - still a bit of a mystery? I certainly won't be worried if I have to go back in ! Excellent Hospital & care - thank you!
