What I liked
The lady from the Balmoral Clinic guided me to the casualty section for a review.
What could be improved
I had initially lodged in a complaint about the manner I was being treated by a named medical personnel at the Eye casualty section. I was phoned by a Lady who introduced herself. When I developed a further pain in my left eye and revisited the clinic, I saw the named medical officer whom I had complained against talking to everyone whom I was seeing. After being seen by some Doctor who didn't introduce himself, he couldn't do anything sensible to me apart from telling me that if I had pain in my eye I should go and see my GP to get a prescription for paracetamol while waiting for the next scheduled appointment with the Balmoral clinic. He then sent me away without any further treatment. I believe that his attitude towards me was as a result of having been talked to by the medical personnel I had lodged a complaint against some time back.
Anything else?
I still have some terrible pain in my left eye where I had an accident a long time ago but experience recurrences in the pain which is then attended to on a continous basis by eye specialists. This was not the case on my visit when I was merely advised to take paracetamol and wait for my appointment which is only due after almost a month from that date.
