"No dignity left."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

This was the 4th transvaginal ultrasound in x rah department that i have had but the first and last in SRH. The scan from me walking in room getting undressed using bathroom having scan getting redressed was 13 minutes. I felt rushed to get unchanged in front of staff. Felt scan was rough quickly done hurried. Then curtain not closed to get redressed in front of male member and radiographer as I put my underwear and sanitary towels on. Ushered out quickly reported nothing untoward will send it to gp. Said something about follicles but unable to concentrate on the few words that were thrown at me was as I was bleeding and trying to pull my underwear on whilst staff were talking to me. No time for privacy no time for dignity. Cried all night thinking of the way I was treated like an inconvience. I work for the NHS know what patient care should be ,I have never felt so vulnerable in your care.
