I had been dreading this procedure ever since receiving the appointment details about one month previously. Having Googled the world for information, and got the self selecting sample of horrors only added to my anxiety. However, I would like to say that from the moment of arrival the staff and Colonoscopy team could not have done a better job at reassurance, so much so that I felt confident enough to opt for the procedure to be carried out without sedation. For anybody contemplating this procedure and suffering the same sort of worries as I had, I would like to reassure them by saying that in my opinion I don't believe one could be given more consideration and professional attention than I was given at The Conquest. The whole procedure was made manageable enough for me to say that, if necessary, I would have it done again. Thanks to all and I hope this helps.
