Only being a newly registered patient of a GP practice in Sheffield, I found my latest consultation with a GP upsetting and stressful, but the way the GP was criticising reason of my being on a certain strength of medication, demanding that he knew better than anyone else more so than that of specialist workers within hospital clinics, and then to inform my wife that he does not care that I as a patient also have mental health issues too. As I got so wound up that I felt the best coping means was to take myself out of the room to calm down.
