"Exceeded expectations"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

My 71 year old husband had a fall and knocked himself out cold.everyone we encountered from the ambulance crew through casualty MAU and finally Terrington ward were absolutely amazing. The standard of care he received was out of this world. He has Dementia as well and can be extremely hard work but everyone was caring and compassionate right down to the two lovely security staff who kindly ordered us a late night kebab as my daughter and myself hadn't eaten at all on day one, and made my husband and myself a lovely cup of tea, when we had a 2 AM walk. I would encourage any one to go to the QE to get medical attention as they would be well looked after.

I appreciate the time you have taken to post your comments about the care your husband received at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital recently. I am pleased that your whole experience was so positive from the nursing care through to the support you received from our security team. I hope that the compassion you received in hospital enabled you to feel confident in the care your husband was receiving and made what can be a very difficult time, a little easier. I will ensure your comments are shared with our staff in A&E, MAU and Terrington as well as with our security team as I know that they will be pleased to be appreciated.
