"Faultless acute care"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

I was in the region on holiday and suddenly became feverish without warning. At home I would have gone to my GP, but I went to Cheltenham A&E. I was seen by the triage nurse within about one minute and sent straight to bed. I was immensely impressed by the competence and care I received. I really wanted to just get home, but the staff talked me into staying in for 48 hours and gave me intravenous antibiotics. I didn't realise until I did finally leave and read the infection up for myself just how ill I had been and how wise they were. My thanks to them all!

Hello there, Sorry to hear that you needed to use our emergency services during your holiday! But it's good to know you were so well looked after and we will be happy to pass your comments on to the team in A&E. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
