"outpatient appointment."

About: Heartlands Hospital

At my outpatient appointment i was left for two hour after my appointment time with know explanation why doctors was running so late and nurse shouting outside the waitng room for the next person to see doctors when they should have come inside so people would hear them.a elderly lady was just left in a wheel chair waiting for someone to take hear to the xray department in the waiting room but know one had told nurse's that she was there.she would have been still there if another person waiting had not informed a nurse's she was there.also having a very bad knee problem i was not informed that i had to walk a very long way to a new clinic owing to the old one being modernised well that's what it look like.no wheel chairs avalble for me to use.

Dear Colin

Thank you for your comments regarding your experience at Heartlands Hospital Outpatients Clinic. My apologies for any delay in responding to your concern.

I am sorry that you encountered a long wait to be seen without an explanation, and also that you were not offered any assistance with the long distance to walk to the clinic due to your knee problem.

I would like to look into this further, but need some more information.

Can I please ask you to contact me at your convenience? I can be contacted on 0121 424 0808 or by email: marie.helebert@heartofengland.nhs.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Marie Helebert
