"A good activity for the children"

I visited Hawtonville Children's Centre in July as White Post Farm brought some of their animals for the children to get a closer look at e. g. rabbits, ducks, snakes, tortoises, rats, tarantulas.

It was great for the children to see animals close up, and even get to touch them. The staff from White Post Farm were friendly and knowledgeable and made things seem interesting.

The Centre also had additional activities and toys around and it provided a great opportunity for the children (and parents) to let them burn off energy in a safe place, as well as allowing parents to catch up with each other.

I appreciate that there were only two people from White Post Farm there to try and watch over everything but it did feel a bit cramped at times when all of the children were trying to have a look.

Other than that it was great to see such a good turn out and a good idea for an activity/play/fun event.
