"Long wait with no explanation"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Urology

(as a carer),

Waited 2. 20 hours for my brother to be seen after his appointment time. No one apologised or explained when he was to be seen or why it was so late.

Eventually someone came out & said we keep the nicest people until last. No apologies.

I am sorry to learn that you and your brother experienced a delayed appointment today and that you did not receive an apology or reason for this at the time. I would like to have the opportunity to look into this and offer you a fuller explanation for the delay. This will also enable me to feedback and improve upon our future service levels.
