"trauma care after being hit by a car while out..."

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

I was admitted after being hit by a car while out cycling. From the start I was treated as a major trauma case. The care I received was excellent from the start to discharge. I was fully informed of what was happening and why, as was my partner. The staff were caring, professional and receptive to my needs at all times. As a health professional myself I have nothing but praise for my treatment. Well done to all.
