About: North Tyneside General Hospital

Having had my first appointment cancelled at short notice I was very quickly given a second date. All went well this time and the doctor and team were excellent. I must give special thanks to the nursing team who all went that extra mile to keep me informed and comfortable. Well done all round North Tyneside Hospital.

Dear Mr Wilkinson,

I am sorry that your first operation was cancelled - we don't take this decision lightly because we are aware of the impact on patients. It is reassuring to hear that you were quickly offered another one and have been delighted with the excellent service you received.

We will, of course, pass on your special thanks to the nursing team who did all they should to ensure you were fully involved in your care at all times.

I hope your recovery at home has gone well.
