I have just returned from the John Radcliffe to Jersey after a valve replacement. There are so many amazing staff working at the JR who work long hours always with a smile and nothing is ever too much trouble. I was there for 12 days in total and some of the amazing nurses I met carried out their duties with incredible professionalism, humanity and an amazing amount of patience. These people i feel do an incredible job. I would like to thank everyone involved in The Oxford Heart Center for all they have done for me. The incredible nurses and assistants certainly do not get paid what they are worth if they did they would be paid in gold! Finally I would like to thank the Professor and their team for carrying out the operation. You guys are truly amazing :-)

We hope you had a safe trip back home - that is quite a distance! Thank you so much for giving this wonderful feedback, it's lovely to know that you found our staff so personable and professional. As you say, staff at the Trust are required to work for long hours and under pressure, so it is always great to hear that their hard work has paid off and their patients have had as positive an experience as possible.
