"ERPC operation"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

I want to thank the staff at Gynaecology for arranging my ERPC procedure quickly and efficiently after a very bloody and sudden miscarriage last weekend. The hospital was on par with private clinics I have visited abroad. It was very clean, the medical staff was efficient, the anaesthetist and the gynaecologist were very polite and explained things very well. The Operating theatre was big and so well equipped. The medical staff around me was so polite and reassuring. The porters were extremely polite as well and put a smile on my face. What impressed me most was the experience of the anaesthesia this time: in a past similar procedure at another hospital there was just blackness. This time, I woke up gradually in the operating room after the end of the procedure, and even had dreams instead of that awful black vacuum. I recovered very quickly and I believe this was the success of the anaesthetist. Many thanks to all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your ERPC operation. We are pleased to hear that all members of the team were polite, reassuring and kind during this difficult time. It is good to know that the anaesthesia enabled you to wake up more gradually and that you feel this helped contribute to your recovery. Thank once again for sharing your feedback with us and we have passed this on to the team in gynaecology.
