"labour ward experience"

About: Warrington Hospital

On the 27/07/2015 I was in labour with my little boy, being only 18 I was terrified. My mum was there to hold my hand the whole way through it and to tell me everything the midwife said to me after I've gave birth because, i'd had diamorphine and epidural so I couldn't remember. The midwife I had helping me deliver was unprofessional! They kept calling me a "stupid little girl" "drama queen" and the best one... 15 minutes before my son was born they said I'm a "attention seeker because i wasn't even in labour". All through my pregnancy I had problems with this hospital, its ridiculous and I will be making a formal complaint.

We're really sorry to hear that you felt you weren't treated with respect during your labour which is totally unacceptable. Please contact our complaints team and we can look into this in more detail for you and explore your concerns. You can contact them via complaints@whh.nhs.uk
